Lysmata amboinensis
Biggest Benefits: This shrimp will groom parasites and debris from fishes. Plus, they are so colorful & pretty and move around alot making for a very interesting tank resident.
Size & Required Tank Size: They grow to about 2" in length and can be in tanks from Nano size & up.
Livespan: 2-3 yrs, but they are good years
Diet: They pretty much fend for themselves, but will also eat most aquarium foods
Cautions: Do not add excess to the water if you have a cleaner shrimp because it could cause premature molting & shorten their life span.
* Highly Recommended for all reef tanks.
